Personal Lines Insurance Broker

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Broker to service and grow a portfolio of personal insurance clients. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while providing tailored insurance solutions for home, auto, and personal property risks. The ideal candidate is client‑focused, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced brokerage environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal lines clients (Auto, Home, Condo, Tenant, etc.)
• Handle new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy changes
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
• Provide clear explanations of policy terms, coverage options, and pricing
• Market risks to insurers and negotiate coverage and premiums as needed
• Maintain accurate client and policy records in the broker management system
• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and brokerage procedures

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Personal Lines Insurance Broker role (or similar personal insurance position)
• Active RIBO certification (in good standing)
• Proficiency with Applied Systems Epic (daily hands‑on experience required)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
• Solid understanding of personal insurance products
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of transactions
