We're looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our Business Solutions Group team in Mumbai. If you have a deep understanding of the health insurance industry's current state and a clear vision of what a transformed future could look like, we want to speak with you.

## What Your Week Looks Like

You'll manage health and wellness business requirements and implementation while collaborating actively with functional representatives. You'll solicit, develop, and validate business requirement documentation by gaining a clear understanding of 'as-is' versus 'to-be' processes, and document clear acceptance criteria for user stories.

Leading brainstorming sessions with key stakeholders is a regular part of your work—ensuring business requirements and opportunities are accounted for comprehensively while creating delightful experiences. You'll develop an in-depth understanding of business processes and articulate use cases, user stories, and requirement documents for identified features and capabilities across applicable platforms and projects.

Performing process impact analysis across various platforms while maintaining an end-to-end view of user journeys is essential. You'll design Business Process Flows, review them with key functional stakeholders, and obtain sign-offs. Facilitating discussions and gathering feedback ensures proposed improvements align with business process objectives. You'll partner with functional process owners to support capability vision, strategy, and roadmap.

## Process Improvement and Analysis

A significant part of your role involves identifying pain points, bottlenecks, redundancies, delays, errors, or other areas to enhance processes. You'll dig deeper to uncover root causes of identified inefficiencies. You'll also verify that current processes comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, including legal, compliance, and data privacy considerations.

Using techniques such as flowcharts, BPMN diagrams, and process maps, you'll illustrate the sequence of activities, decision points, inputs, outputs, and roles involved in applicable business processes. When necessary, you'll undertake iterations in signed-off Business Process Flows in collaboration with stakeholders to refine and finalize the next version.

## Stakeholder Management and Testing

Managing stakeholder expectations based on current workload and capacity is crucial. You'll collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand requirements, contribute to the platform technology roadmap, and drive day-to-day prioritization of work on capabilities while collaborating closely with functional users. You'll ensure acceptance criteria are defined and met, leading testing in collaboration with functional users—including joint preparation and review of test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing.

## What We're Looking For

You'll have 7-9 years of total experience in sectors such as health insurance, wellness, payments, financial services, e-commerce, insurance core systems, or insurance tele-sales and customer servicing. At least 3 years' experience in health insurance is required.

You have end-to-end knowledge of health insurance products, operations processes, and technology systems. You can understand high-level processes and convert them into detailed business requirement documents. You have a proven track record of end-to-end implementation and business outcome delivery of significant insurance systems.

You're an expert in designing wireframes, UX flows, and customer journey maps. You conduct usability testing, interpret feedback, and incorporate insights into subsequent implementations. You're a true team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across disciplines including Technology, Product, Operations, Marketing, and Analytics teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

You're passionate about operating iteratively and are an effective communicator who can present strategy and persuade stakeholders while solving user problems creatively and effectively. You're able to identify and track appropriate metrics to assess key processes and capabilities in pursuit of continuous improvement.

## Technical and Cultural Fit

You have hands-on knowledge of Confluence and JIRA, behavioral analytics platforms, BI tools, and SDLC tracking tools. You've built best-in-class processes from scratch and are passionate about leveraging digital tools to transform customer experience. You're passionate about consumer behavior and culture, and you genuinely enjoy spending time with customers to understand what they really need.
