Role

We are hiring an experienced L3 Network Security Engineer Firewall Engineer with strong expertise in Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies.

Responsibilities

Mandatory Skills (Non-Negotiable)

• Palo Alto Firewall
• Fortinet Firewall

Good to Have

• F5 BIG-IP Load Balancing

Certifications Mandatory

• Fortinet Certified Expert (FCX)

Preferred / Optional

• Palo Alto Networks Security Professional
• F5 Certified Technology Specialist (Load Balancing)

Skills required

• Manage and support Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls at L3 level
• Expert-level knowledge of Fortinet firewall and security platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of Palo Alto / Fortinet firewalls and F5 BIG-IP load balancing solutions.

In-depth understanding of

• Network and security policies
• Access Control Lists (ACLs)
• Network Address Translation (NAT)
• Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS)
• Site-to-site and remote-access VPNs
• Experience with authentication and identity integrations (LDAP, RADIUS, SAML).
• Hands-on experience with Splunk for monitoring, alerting, and security analytics. (ref: hirist.tech)
