Responsibilities
- Maintain, upgrade, and document enterprise PKI services to ensure business continuity and security compliance
- Design and deploy PKI solutions for new or enhanced cryptographic and encryption services
- Ensure PKI systems adhere to internal security policies, standards, and industry best practices
- Act as technical lead on security initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders, executives, and project teams
- Develop PKI/PKE best practices and stay current on emerging technologies and threats
- Represent PKI Engineering on organizational projects
- Work as part of our IT team in Frankfurt/Main to establish a strategic technology foundation across our EY countries
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 8 years of engineering experience with increasing responsibility
- Security industry certification such as CISSP, SSCP, CISM, SANS GSEC, ECSA, ECSP, or Security+
- Strong experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Experience with Venafi and/or KeyFactor certificate management suites
- Expertise in CodeSigning and cryptographic services
- Experience with Hardware Security Module (HSM) technology, including SafeNet, nCipher, or Safenet HSM platforms
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and understanding of REST APIs
- Cloud solution development experience in Azure and/or AWS related to PKI management
- Agile mindset, curiosity, and a collaborative approach
