Responsibilities

  • Maintain, upgrade, and document enterprise PKI services to ensure business continuity and security compliance
  • Design and deploy PKI solutions for new or enhanced cryptographic and encryption services
  • Ensure PKI systems adhere to internal security policies, standards, and industry best practices
  • Act as technical lead on security initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders, executives, and project teams
  • Develop PKI/PKE best practices and stay current on emerging technologies and threats
  • Represent PKI Engineering on organizational projects
  • Work as part of our IT team in Frankfurt/Main to establish a strategic technology foundation across our EY countries

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of engineering experience with increasing responsibility
  • Security industry certification such as CISSP, SSCP, CISM, SANS GSEC, ECSA, ECSP, or Security+
  • Strong experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Experience with Venafi and/or KeyFactor certificate management suites
  • Expertise in CodeSigning and cryptographic services
  • Experience with Hardware Security Module (HSM) technology, including SafeNet, nCipher, or Safenet HSM platforms
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and understanding of REST APIs
  • Cloud solution development experience in Azure and/or AWS related to PKI management
  • Agile mindset, curiosity, and a collaborative approach
