About
As a Working Student in Fraud Software Development, you will help build internal tools, automation, and lightweight backend services to streamline fraud workflows in a modern e-commerce environment. You will collaborate with the Fraud Engineering team to automate processes, integrate data, and improve operational efficiency while keeping the system simple and scalable. This role blends hands-on coding with cross-functional collaboration to reduce manual effort. You’ll contribute to fraud prevention initiatives and gain exposure to production-grade software in a fast-paced company.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal tools, automation scripts, and lightweight backend services for fraud workflows
- Support recurring fraud operations through process automation and data integrations
- Work with APIs, SQL databases, structured data, and fraud-related systems to improve efficiency
- Contribute to fraud prevention initiatives including rule-testing and scalable automation
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate fraud challenges into software solutions
Qualifications
- Practical programming experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java
- Basic understanding of APIs, backend services, SQL, databases, and software development workflows
- Ongoing Master’s studies in relevant fields
- Interest in automation, fraud prevention, risk systems, internal tooling, and ecommerce platforms
- Hands-on and pragmatic engineering mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
