About the role
A Snapshot of Your Day
The Master Planner is responsible for the coordination and optimization of production planning processes. This includes the development of production schedules, ensuring the availability of materials, aligning production capacity with customer demand, and playing a lead role in integrated planning (S&OP). The role requires close collaboration with sales, procurement, logistics, and production departments to structure, improve, and implement robust short, medium, and long-term best planning practices with the objective of ensuring timely and cost-effective manufacturing and on-time delivery to our customers.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Develop and maintain production plans based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement to avoid shortages.
- Analyze production capacity and adjust plans to meet delivery deadlines.
- Develop and implement S&OP and other planning best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve planning issues.
- Prepare reports and metrics to track planning performance.
What You Bring
- University degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field, with 3-5 years of experience as a master planner in production planning or supply chain coordination.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, demonstrate excellent judgment, and rally others around a plan.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in planning software and MS Office, with experience in data analysis and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- This position is in a French-speaking environment but requires fluency in English to comprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources, and to communicate with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.
