You will lead a team of five overseeing Production Planning and Raw Material Planning for two Swiss manufacturing sites specialized in fruit and vegetable powders. The role is based in Avignon, France.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing planning team through effective performance management, talent growth, and succession strategies.
- Drive production and supply planning aligned with service, inventory (MTO/MTS/MTF), and capacity objectives.
- Optimize inventory levels through proactive monitoring, SLOB analysis, and timely corrective actions.
- Act as the primary Supply Chain contact for the site, managing escalations and critical supply constraints.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration to enhance service performance and operational efficiency.
- Co-lead initiatives with Production to achieve cost reduction and process improvement (batch optimization, cycle time reduction).
- Ensure compliance with Givaudan guidelines, safety standards, and best practices; design training programs when needed.
- Contribute actively to performance reviews, project execution, and achievement of site and regional business targets.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Production Planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Analysis and Supply Chain best practices (APICS is a plus)
- 5 Years related Planning experience preferred
- 6 sigma / lean Yellow or Green Belt preferred
- Experience in the flavour, ingredient or fragrance industry preferred
