Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate a sovereign on‑premise private cloud platform across the full stack (infrastructure, networking, virtualization, containers)
• Manage Linux‑based systems, compute, storage, and networking (L2/L3, routing, load balancing, firewalls)
• Build and operate container and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) and virtualization layers
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure observability, monitoring, logging, and system reliability across the platform
• Apply security best practices across all layers (IAM, network security, encryption, system hardening)
• Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple layers and continuously improve platform resilience and usability

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux system administration and infrastructure engineering
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, scripting or programming (Python, Go, Bash or similar)
• Understanding of observability tools and reliability concepts
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, ownership, and willingness to learn
• Swiss citizenship is required
