Platform Engineer

Challenging, a Talent & Recruiting Consulting Company, is seeking a motivated and passionate Platform Engineer for an important client in the Financial Services sector, with a focus on cloud technologies and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of platform solutions to support modern software delivery processes.
• Automation of infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD.
• Management and optimization of AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-native services.
• Improvement of developer experience through automation and integration of platform tools and services.
• Implementation of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Support for migrating legacy systems to modern, automated, and scalable architectures.
• Collaboration with DevOps, QA, Operations, and Software Engineering teams to improve quality, stability, and operational efficiency.
• Contribution to the definition of secure, event-driven, and highly reliable architectures.
• Support for incident management and mission-critical services in 24/7 environments.

Requirements

• Python: scripting, automation, internal tools.
• AWS: EC2, ECS, IAM, S3, etc.
• Terraform / Ansible: Infrastructure as Code.
• Jenkins: CI/CD pipeline.
• Docker (+ Kubernetes is a plus).
• Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Monitoring/observability: Coralogix, Prometheus, similar tools.
• Git and Jira.
• Good knowledge of the English language.

Plus Skills (not mandatory)

• Experience in the financial sector.
• Background as a Java or C++ developer.
