Platform Engineer

Do you want to not only operate modern platforms but also actively shape and develop them? In this role, you will create the technical foundation for stable, scalable, and efficient systems. Together with development and IT, you will ensure that applications are deployed reliably and that teams can work optimally.

Responsibilities

• Building and further developing platforms for applications and services
• Automating deployments, infrastructure, and operational processes
• Ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of the systems
• Close collaboration with development teams to optimize workflows
• Introduction and operation of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Co-designing cloud architectures and modern infrastructure concepts

Profile

• Experience in building and operating platforms or infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD
• Structured way of working and high solution orientation
• Teamwork skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration

Good to Know
