Platform Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Job

• You develop Kubernetes Operators and Controllers in Go, creating the foundation for more automation within our platform.
• You build reusable platform components for productive use in cloud-native environments.
• You automate infrastructure with Terraform/Open Tofu and operational processes with a clear focus on scalability, stability, and maintainability.
• You work on the further development of our platform architecture around Kubernetes and cloud-native operating models.
• You support the technical implementation of self-service functionalities for development teams.
• You integrate platform functions into existing Dev Ops and Git Ops approaches.
• You contribute to technical decisions regarding automation, platform operation, and standardization.

What you bring

• Very good Golang skills and practical experience in developing productive software.
• Very deep Kubernetes experience, especially in developing Kubernetes Operators and Controllers.
• Very good understanding of Kubernetes APIs, Reconciliation Patterns, and cloud-native architectural principles.
• Experience in Platform Engineering and in building or further developing Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Know-how in automating infrastructure, services, or operational processes.
• Ideally, experience with Git Ops, IaC approaches (e.g., Terraform, Open Tofu), or Developer Platforms.
• You work in a structured, pragmatic way with a high quality standard for sustainable technical solutions.
• You have fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
