We are currently seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with expertise in Unix/Linux/SE for our Data Centric-Multi-Level Secure® (DC-MLS®) Enterprise team. This team plays a pivotal role in deploying and supporting DC-MLS® projects, including HPC programs, ensuring they operate smoothly and effectively for various contracts.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Deploying Red Hat systems using RH Satellite and Ansible automation while maintaining configurations for RHEL/SE Linux.
• Troubleshooting automation and deployment issues through collaborative site administration.
• Installing software libraries essential for supporting DC-MLS® Enterprise deployments in RHEL/SE Linux environments.
• Monitoring and enhancing the DC-MLS® Enterprise within an agile and adaptive setting.
• Collaborating with third-party vendors to translate and integrate deployment processes.
• Implementing DevOps engineering best practices to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Providing comprehensive support for staff and end users regarding DC-MLS® Enterprise issues.
• Modifying existing DevOps tools to improve deployments and resolve any errors.
• Developing and executing test plans for filesystem upgrades, addressing any arising support issues with vendors.
• Exploring opportunities for new business growth.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Linux, scripting/software development, and configuration management.
• Proficient in languages such as Python, Perl, Korn, Bourne/Bash, Ansible, and other shell scripting variants.
• Experience with version control software (CVS, SVN, Git, GitLab, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of DevOps deployment automation and processes management.
• Security+ Certification is mandatory.
• TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is required to start.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with software development processes including design, coding, documentation, and testing.
• Ability to analyze, debug, and maintain existing DevOps systems.
• Experience configuring SE Linux policies.
• Knowledge of RH Satellite software and filesystem technologies like Lustre and NFS.
• Networking experience including Ethernet, RDMA, InfiniBand, and OmniPath communications.
• Understanding of identity management systems such as LDAP.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
