Aria de responsabilitate

The Product Management Applications division at KUKA Robotics is responsible for innovative software application products from the idea to the end of the product life cycle. The Product Management department, consisting of Strategic Product Management, Applications, Software and Mechatronics, is reporting directly to the management board. It is a central organizational unit and an important link between the regions, sales and R&D.

Responsibilities

• Product management in the field of vision/AI and mobile robot applications
• Evaluation of technology trends, competitors and market needs
• Evaluation of customer requirements and creation of value propositions
• Management of internal and external stakeholders for the definition of product requirements in requirement specifications
• Validate product concepts with lead customers and validate product acceptance
• Definition of market launch strategies incl. marketing storyline
• Preparation of sales documentation and training courses
• Monitoring of product performance and definition of measures to ensure market success, profitability and competitiveness
• Management of product discontinuations
• Participation in the development and implementation of the portfolio strategy for applications
• Close cooperation with R&D Product Owner/Team Leader, Business Developer and Sales Manager
• Support of the regional sales teams, strategic product management and key account managers

Profil

What you need to succeed

• Completed master's degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Min. 3 years of experience in product management
• Experience in developing and implementing portfolio strategies
• Hands-on experience with machine vision, AI software and mobile robot applications
• Technical understanding how to bring together AI and software with hardware systems
• Experience defining and building software architectures
• Market knowledge of automation and robot-based applications
• Sound knowledge of project management
• Experience in communication, presentation and moderation at all company levels
• Excellent English skills, German is a plus
