Responsibilities

• Responsible for innovative software application products for various industrial processes from idea to end of product life cycle.
• Evaluate technology trends, competitors and market needs.
• Evaluate customer requirements and create value propositions.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders for definition of product requirements in requirement specifications.
• Validate product concepts with lead customers and validate product acceptance.
• Define market launch strategies including marketing storyline.
• Prepare sales documentation and training courses.
• Monitor product performance and define measures to ensure market success, profitability and competitiveness.
• Manage product discontinuations.
• Participate in development and implementation of portfolio strategy for applications.
• Cooperate closely with R&D Product Owner/Team Leader, Business Developer and Sales Manager.
• Support regional sales teams, strategic product management and key account managers.

Requirements

• Completed master's degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product management.
• Experience in developing and implementing portfolio strategies.
• Hands-on experience with machine vision, AI software and mobile robot applications.
• Technical understanding of integrating AI and software with hardware systems.
• Experience defining and building software architectures.
• Market knowledge of automation and robot-based applications.
• Sound knowledge of project management.
• Experience in communication, presentation and moderation at all company levels.
• Excellent English skills; German is a plus.
