Platform Support Engineer – Wireless Solutions

We’re looking for a Platform Support Engineer to join a growing wireless solutions team, supporting complex communication systems in a demanding industrial environment.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy deep system troubleshooting, data flow analysis, and working at the intersection of software, networking, and industrial systems.

Your Role

You will play a key role in maintaining and improving platform reliability, ensuring seamless communication across complex wireless systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues across Linux-based platforms
• Analyse data flows and identify root causes of communication failures
• Develop scripts for automation, monitoring, and diagnostics
• Support deployment and configuration of systems in industrial environments
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and stability

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux (administration, troubleshooting, daily usage)
• Scripting skills in Python (or similar) for automation and diagnostics
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, data flow)
• Experience in IT/OT environments or industrial communication systems
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible (or equivalent)
• Strong debugging mindset with the ability to trace complex system issues

Languages

• English (required)
• German and/or French (nice to have)
