Senior Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright for UI automation. The ideal candidate should have solid programming skills in JavaScript or Python and a deep understanding of modern test automation frameworks, CI/CD processes, and quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright
• Write robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of web applications
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with teams to resolve issues
• Improve test coverage, execution speed, and reliability of automation suites
• Mentor junior QA engineers and guide best practices in automation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation tool
• Proficiency in JavaScript or Python
• Experience in UI testing, cross-browser testing, and responsive testing
• Good understanding of automation frameworks and design patterns
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of API testing is an added advantage
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
