Project Context

As part of the digital transformation underway within the Safran Group, a large-scale program aims to harmonize PLM environments and migrate all technical and documentary data from previous systems to the 3DEXPERIENCE and PTC Windchill platforms. These critical migrations must ensure the continuity of engineering activities, compliance with Safran standards, and optimal use of data in future business processes.

Your Mission

In interaction with PLM experts, IT architects, and the technical departments of the Group's Companies, your mission will be to frame and manage the implementation of migration projects. You will be a coordinator, a guarantor of data quality, and a techno-economic manager with the objective of ensuring a transition to the new PLMs without service interruption and by securing data, deadlines, and business uses.

You will be involved in the following areas:

Global Project Management of Migration

• Define the migration scope (CAD data, Bills of Materials, documents, configurations, histories...).
• Develop the detailed schedule: milestones, phases, dependencies.
• Manage the budget, costs, internal/external resources.
• Monitor risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure reporting to management and stakeholders.

Analysis and Scoping of Existing Data

• Evaluate the data assets in the source systems (Enovia V5, Smarteam, internal PLM, network files...).
• Identify quality, inconsistencies, and discrepancies between the current structure and 3DX requirements.
• Define data transformation rules (attribute mapping, links, assembly structures...).
• Coordinate data cleansing and preparation actions.

Definition of Migration Architecture and Strategy

• Choose the approach: Big Bang vs. progressive migration (by domain, by product scope...).
• Define the necessary tools and scripts (ETL, migration factory, 3DX API, MQL, Java...).
• Specify the environments: DEV / INT / PREPROD / PROD.
• Validate the architecture with 3DX experts and IT.

Coordination of Technical Teams

• Lead the teams working on the project:
• Manage subcontractors or Dassault Systèmes consultants when necessary.

Management and Execution of Migration Tests

• Build test plans: unit, chain, volume, performance.
• Lead pilot migration iterations.
• Validate results with business departments: success rate, quality, compliance.
• Adjust migration rules based on feedback.

Change Management and Communication

• Explain impacts to business teams (methods, R&D, manufacturing...).
• Coordinate training or the creation of knowledge resources.
• Manage regular communications: progress, risks, system downtimes.

The Profile You're Looking For

1. PLM Skills

• Very good knowledge of PTC Windchill or 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA (data model, lifecycle, collaborative spaces, EBOM/MBOM, documents, CATIA integration...)
• Mastery of migration tools and mechanisms: MQL/TCL, 3DX API, Dassault Tools (ETL, Batch, Migration Factory, XCAD...)
• Knowledge of business processes: R&D, manufacturing, configuration, documentation.
• Demonstrated experience in 3DX/PTC migration projects
• Project Management Experience
• SI/PLM Project Management: agile methods, planning, budget, risks, reporting. Facilitation of business and technical workshops.
• Environments and tools: Mastery of tools like Jira, Confluence, Power BI, MS Project.
• Mandatory English proficiency
