About the role
Context
As part of complex projects in the energy sector, with a strong nuclear focus, we are looking for a PMO / PMO Engineer to strengthen project governance on the client side, including coordination, monitoring, and control.
Main Responsibilities
Project Management / PMO
- Set up and monitor project management tools.
- Structure performance indicators (cost, schedule, and progress KPIs).
- Prepare and lead project review meetings.
- Support decision-making for the project manager and senior management.
Cost Management
- Overall budget tracking for projects.
- Variance analysis (forecast vs. actual).
- Updating forecasts.
- Raising alerts in case of financial deviations.
Schedule / Planning Management
- Build and maintain project schedules (high-level and detailed).
- Critical path analysis.
- Progress tracking and anticipation of delays.
- Propose recovery plans in case of schedule or cost overruns.
Contract Management
- Contractual follow-up with suppliers and partners.
- Analysis of commitments, amendments, and project impacts.
- Interface between technical teams, procurement, and legal departments when necessary.
Profile Required
- Engineering degree.
- Proven experience in PMO / industrial project management.
- Experience in the energy sector, ideally nuclear (highly valued).
- Comfortable working in demanding, regulated, and constrained environments.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (costs, schedules, risks).
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
- Comfortable with planning tools and report writing.
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and rigor.
- Ability to challenge project decisions constructively without blocking progress.
