Drive effective policy development as a Policy Analyst in child care systems. Collaborate with teams to translate provincial directives into actionable local strategies while supporting high-quality service delivery.
Reporting to the Supervisor of Policy and Planning, you'll lead the development of policies for early years and child care services. This role requires an analytical and detail-oriented professional to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. As a Policy Analyst, you'll engage partners, utilize data for informed decisions, and work within a hybrid model for flexible engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead coordination of policy implementation in child care
- Develop updated agreements and guidelines for programs
- Produce high-quality briefing notes and presentations
- Analyze data for effective oversight and planning
- Communicate with community partners for collaboration
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in relevant fields
- Minimum five years of policy development experience
- Knowledge of early learning and child care legislation
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
