For our EUROGATE Group Automation (EGA) division, we are looking for a

Portfolio Systems & OT Manager (m/f/d)

across locations, with headquarters in Bremen or Hamburg, to start as soon as possible.

In the role of Portfolio Systems & OT Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure that IT and OT systems within the automation portfolio function as an integrated, scalable overall system. You will connect strategic objectives with operational implementation and ensure that complex automation solutions perform reliably in real terminal operations.

Your Tasks

• You develop and manage a group-wide Systems & OT roadmap in line with the automation strategy and operational requirements.
• You define and establish architecture principles, standards, and interfaces for a scalable and consistent system landscape.
• You ensure that selected and developed systems (including IT Factory) align with the roadmap and long-term performance requirements.
• You are responsible for the integration and performance of automated horizontal transport systems (e.g., AGVs, ATT) in live operation.
• You ensure that integration risks across systems, suppliers, and projects are minimized through structured validation, testing, and deployment approaches.
• You coordinate technical alignment between IT, OT, Engineering, and Operations.
• You support project teams with integration issues and ensure that solutions remain practical and implementable.

Your Profile

• You have completed a degree in engineering, computer science, automation technology, or a comparable field.
• You have several years of experience (approx. 8+ years) in IT and/or OT roles, ideally in container terminals, automated logistics, or comparable industrial environments.
• You have sound experience in system integration (software, equipment, infrastructure).
• You have knowledge of automation systems (e.g., TOS, ECS, or comparable platforms).
• You have experience in complex project and stakeholder structures, as well as in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and external partners.
• You have strong communication skills and the ability to structure and present complex technical content clearly and understandably.
• You work pragmatically and solution-oriented with a focus on implementability and impact.
• You possess initiative, a sense of responsibility, and assertiveness.
• You have very good English skills; German skills are an advantage.
• You are willing to travel across locations within Germany.
