Reporting to the IT Department of Lagardère Travel Retail, you will join the IT & Master Data team. Within the Point of Sales Operations (POS) support team, you will work on all IT tools used in stores (checkout systems, payment, mobility, electronic shelf labels) in an international and demanding environment.
You will provide user support, transfer knowledge to local IT teams, and actively participate in the continuous improvement of service quality as well as in the deployment projects of checkout solutions.
Your Role and Missions
Support & Operation of POS Solutions
- Provide Level 2 IT support for tools used in stores: checkout, payment, mobility, and electronic shelf labels
- Primarily work remotely and act as the escalation point for Level 1 support teams and country IT Managers
- Ensure service quality across an international scope (approximately 30 countries – EMEA, ASPAC, LATAM)
Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Handle Level 2 / Level 3 incidents, analyze root causes (logs, data, configuration), and ensure their resolution
- Identify recurring incidents with a focus on Problem Management and continuous improvement
- Configure new stores, participate in monthly release deployments, and POS projects (Change Management)
Knowledge Capitalization & Continuous Improvement
- Populate and maintain the knowledge base (Confluence) for Level 1 and Level 2 support
- Formalize configuration, incident resolution, and troubleshooting procedures
- Contribute to process optimization and raising the maturity level of POS support
Coordination & Transverse Collaboration
- Interact with POS IT, SAP, Systems, Networks teams, Business teams (products, pricing, promotions), and the Digital team
- Collaborate closely with local IT Managers and country service providers
- Monitor maintenance operations, proactive performance monitoring, and alert handling
What About You?
- You hold a degree (Bac +2 or higher).
- You have solid experience in a Retail environment, with exposure to one or more Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- You have worked in IT support and/or project management contexts, ideally in an international environment.
- You are rigorous, methodical, and autonomous, with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Knowledge of retail in an airport environment is a real asset.
- You have fluent written and spoken English skills.
- You are comfortable with remote access tools (TeamViewer).
- You have good knowledge of systems and networks (Windows 10/11 Pro, Intunes, IP configuration, DHCP, Meraki).
- You are proficient with checkout / POS environments (cash register hardware and software, SCO, SOK, KDS, POS terminals/EFT, payment methods), with TCPOS knowledge being a plus.
- You have strong writing skills to document incidents, update tickets, and formalize procedures.
