Part-Time IT Tutor (Java)

About

We are URGENTLY looking for dedicated and dynamic IT tutors who know Delphi programming language for online lessons. You must have at least 80% or above for matric IT and/or have a history of tutoring high school IT if you only did programming at a tertiary level. The ideal candidate should be available on weekdays and have a strong passion for tutoring and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Providing engaging and effective lessons
• Helping students understand key concepts and topics
• Reinforcing course material to ensure mastery
• Offering feedback and guidance on assignments and homework
• Encouraging students to develop strong study habits and skills
• Evaluating student progress and providing regular reports

Requirements

• Matriculation with a distinction in IT (Delphi) or a related field
• Currently enrolled or have completed a related degree program at a reputable tertiary institution.
• Reliable internet connection, whiteboard (electronic or physical), laptop, tablet/iPad, and/or any tools required to conduct interactive online lessons.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of IT (Delphi) curriculum and concepts at the high school level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students' academic success
