About the role
Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Power Platform Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio to drive enterprise enablement, deployment, and support for AI‑powered copilots and agents within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role will oversee the architecture and development of enterprise‑grade copilots, creation of AI agents, integration with critical business systems, and establishment of governance frameworks that enable secure, scalable automation.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience with Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, Power Automate, and enterprise integrations, and demonstrate a strong track record deploying agentic AI solutions in large‑scale environments.
Location: Only open for Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; and Vienna, VA (Onsite).
Key Responsibilities
Copilot Studio & Platform Engineering
- Design, build, and operationalize AI copilots and agents utilizing Microsoft Copilot Studio, including integrating Copilot Studio Kit with NFCU Hygiene Workflows.
- Develop reusable platform assets such as prompt engineering templates, plugin libraries, agent designs, custom connectors, and modular agent components.
- Integrate Copilot Studio with Enterprise MCP Services, ensuring seamless operation across enterprise environments.
DevOps, ALM, and Automation
- Architect and implement comprehensive DevOps pipelines integrated with Power Platform COE ALM applications and GitHub to facilitate version‑controlled, automated deployments and environment management.
- Automate Application Lifecycle Management processes, including continuous integration, delivery, and testing of copilots, plugins, and connectors.
- Streamline connection management and enable automated password rotation for all platform integrations.
Infrastructure & Operations
- Manage and optimize Virtual Network and Data Gateway infrastructure supporting Copilot Studio and agent deployments.
- Implement continuous monitoring, automated capacity management, and high‑availability strategies for Power Platform solutions.
- Integrate with monitoring platforms (Sentinel, Defender, Dynatrace) to facilitate agent behavior tracking and anomaly detection.
- Configure proactive monitoring alerts with automated self‑resolution workflows and robust escalation procedures.
Governance, Security, and Risk Controls
- Enforce governance, security, and compliance policies across copilots, agents, prompts, plugins, and connectors within the Power Platform.
- Oversee recertification processes for bots, connectors, and knowledge sources.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive auditability for agent actions, prompt usage, and plugin execution.
- Enable user content propagation workflows and rigorously enforce content governance controls.
- Implement advanced risk mitigation measures, including hallucination detection, sensitive data masking, response filtering, and prompt injection protection.
Reporting & Support
- Deliver customized agent inventory and effectiveness reports tailored for stakeholders and executive management.
- Establish and maintain a tiered support model for enterprise Copilot Studio agents, incorporating incident management, root cause analysis, and structured feedback loops for continuous improvement.
Adoption & Enablement
- Partner with business and product teams to identify and deliver high‑value AI automation initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership, best practices, enablement resources, and mentorship for internal and partner development teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years’ hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
