PR Electricall Engineer with Building experience

Duties & Responsibilities

Experience

• Electrical Building Services – Residential, Retail, Commercial, Institutional and Medical design experience and good working knowledge will be an advantage
• Electronic Building service – Access control, Fire Detection, BMS and CCTV
• Energy saving and energy management designs
• C&I – Rooftop PV, ground-mounted solar projects and energy storage with HelioScope and Pvsyst simulations design experience and good working knowledge will be an advantage
• Capable of independently managing projects from inception to close-out
• Work efficiently without supervision while coordinating inputs from specialists
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong technical report writing capabilities
• Ability to cope in high-pressure environments
• Proficiency – MSOffice, MS Project, Reticmaster/Powamaster, AutoCAD, Dialux / Ulysse

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Candidate must have a B Eng/BSc in Electrical Engineering
• 5-10 years design and project experience
• Candidate must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Electrical Engineer
• Knowledge of construction contracts, such as GCC, JBCC, NEC and other will be beneficial.
• Sound knowledge of SANS building standards as well as standards related to health facilities and systems.
