Commissioning Manager

About

ANOTECH Energy, a global leader in engineering and consulting for the energy sector (Oil & Gas, LNG, Renewables), is seeking a Commissioning Manager for a major LNG project in Paris then Oman. This role focuses on the technical execution of Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning (PC&C) activities, including:

• Implementation of the OPERCOM methodology (client standard) for planning and execution.
• Technical review of PFDs, P&IDs, and discipline drawings to integrate start-up requirements during the engineering phase.
• Development of detailed commissioning sequences (Level 3 and 4 schedules) and alignment with planning tools (ICAPS, Easyplant, etc.).
• Multidisciplinary coordination (3D model reviews, HAZOP, PID reviews) to ensure engineering documentation meets PC&C requirements.

Key Technical Responsibilities

Technical Preparation:

• Draft PC&C procedures, method statements, and operating manuals for start-up activities.
• Compile technical lists: vendor mobilizations, spare parts, tools, consumables, and temporary equipment.
• Validate technical specifications for subcontractors and vendors to align deliverables with commissioning needs.

Execution & Coordination:

• Lead operational tests and system trials to achieve "Plant Ready For Start-Up (RFSU)" status.
• Ensure technical availability of completion management systems (ICAPS/Easyplant) and train field teams.
• Witness pre-commissioning activities performed by subcontractors for seamless handover at RFC stage.

Optimization & Reporting:

• Analyze technical risks and propose corrective actions for schedule deviations.
• Contribute to technical workshops and progress reports (weekly/monthly) using data tools (PowerBI, 3D software).
• Document lessons learned to improve future processes.

Practical Information

• Start date: ASAP (preparation in Paris).
• Site mobilization (Oman): May/June 2026.
• End of mission: May 2028.

Requirements

Required Technical Profile

• Engineering degree (Master’s level) with 10+ years in PC&C, including 3+ years in process/operations.
• Mandatory experience in LNG projects (onshore/offshore) with expertise in Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) constraints.
• Software proficiency:
  • Essential: MS Office, PowerBI, PDF/Bluebeam, 3D tools (Navisworks, etc.), ICAPS/Easyplant.
  • Preferred: Process simulation tools (Hysys, Flarenet).
• Field experience: Site mobilization, technical interface management (instrumentation, telecoms, ICSS, etc.).
• Languages: Fluent English (French is a plus).
