Presales Engineer

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically proficient and customer-oriented Presales engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with sales teams, clients, and technical stakeholders to design and present cloud-based solutions that align with customer needs. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure and excellent communication skills will be critical in supporting sales engagements and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with sales executives to understand client requirements and propose Azure-based solutions that address business challenges.

Design and present cloud architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution roadmaps.

Conduct technical discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and cloud readiness assessments.

Deliver compelling product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and solution walkthroughs.

Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) during pre-sales conversations, RFIs, RFPs, and customer workshops.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (delivery, security, DevOps, and support teams) to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions.

Stay current with Cloud innovations, services, licensing models, and best practices.

Assist in estimating cloud costs and building ROI/TCO models for proposed Azure deployments.

Participate in cloud migration strategy discussions and recommend optimal approaches (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on client input and solution challenges.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

Experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or consulting role preferred.

Strong understanding of Azure services, and any other Cloud OEM is a plus

Familiarity with hybrid cloud and migration tools such as Azure Migrate, ASR, or Azure Arc.

Proficiency in cloud cost estimation tools like Azure Pricing Calculator and TCO Calculator.

Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400 or AZ-700, or any other cloud certifications from AWS or GCP are a plus.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to tailor solutions and technical messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines on Azure.

Experience with Scripting tools Such as PowerShell, Python, or Go

Strong Experience with Cloud Native infrastructure

Understanding industry compliance standards (ISO, NIST, HIPAA, etc.).

Experience with competitive cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.

Certifications across multi-cloud platforms are a plus**
