We are expanding rapidly and seek a skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Europe and Africa. This role is a key link between our technical development teams and our commercial clients, ensuring that our solutions are well understood, clearly demonstrated, and successfully adopted.
Role Overview
The Pre-Sales Engineer will work closely with the sales, product, and R&D teams to identify client requirements, develop tailored solution proposals, and demonstrate the value and technical viability of IMPERUM’s products. This professional will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills to support the entire sales cycle—from initial contact to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for prospective clients.
- Customize solution architectures to meet specific client needs and integration scenarios.
- Work with R&D to assess feasibility and align customer requests with product capabilities.
- Support tender responses, technical documentation, and proposals.
- Maintain a deep understanding of IMPERUM’s platform features, deployment models, and roadmap.
- Gather market and customer feedback to help shape product strategy and innovation priorities.
- Provide technical training and support to partners and key customers when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role.
- Deep knowledge on technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, XDR, NDR, EDR,…
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures, APIs, and enterprise software integrations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in French and English .
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or digital transformation sectors preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, autonomy, and customer-oriented mindset.
