Presales Solution Engineer (m/w/d)

Contract Type: Full-time employee

Location: Hamburg

What awaits you

• Analysis of customer requirements, creation of solution architectures, and feasibility, risk, and business case assessments
• Technical consulting, conception, and standardization of modern Cisco network and security solutions (LAN, WLAN, SDN, DNA/SDA); further knowledge in areas from manufacturers like Checkpoint or Fortinet would be nice
• Sales-oriented presales support including offer creation, configuration of checked parts lists (BoMs), and TCO/ROI calculations
• Conducting customer presentations, workshops, proof of concepts (PoC/PoV), and participating in bidding negotiations
• Continuous market and technology observation, evaluation of new trends, and exchange with Cisco and other strategic partners

What distinguishes you

• Completed studies or technical training and several years of professional experience in presales, consulting, or IT engineering (ideally in the Cisco enterprise environment)
• Good knowledge of Cisco networking and security (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or comparable practical experience)
• Confident presentation and communication skills at technical and management levels
• Entrepreneurial thinking, independent working style, and strong customer and solution orientation
• Very good German and English skills, as well as willingness to attend customer appointments and occasional travel
