Job Summary
As a Presales Solutions Engineer specializing in Endpoint Security, you will be at the forefront of security technology, engaging with clients to understand their security needs and delivering tailored solutions. This role involves a consultative approach to security projects, ensuring that technology aligns with business objectives. You will also be responsible for creating and presenting new security service offerings to meet evolving customer demands.
This is a remote position, but occasional travel may be required to the Austin, Texas office for business needs as determined by SHI management.
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders within client organizations, including CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, and procurement teams, to foster strong relationships and comprehend their security goals.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of SHI's service offerings through training and self-study.
- Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solutions and key technologies through personalized and group training sessions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends through continuous research.
- Enhance your skills through hands-on experience in our lab facilities.
- Create supporting material to assist with cybersecurity sales engagements.
- Develop real-life use cases in the SHI lab to bolster sales engagements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience is required.
- 5+ years in a technical cybersecurity role.
- 3+ years in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
- Advanced certifications in relevant technologies are preferred, such as CISSP, GIAC, CISM, among others.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and engagements.
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary to complete special projects.
The estimated annual compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $230,000, which includes base salary and bonuses, based on experience and market location. Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending accounts.
