Freelance Presentation Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Presentation Designer with a strong background in the retail industry. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex information into visually compelling and easy-to-understand presentation decks and templates. You will play a vital role in ensuring that brand narratives are communicated effectively and professionally across various internal and external touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Design and Layout: Create high-impact presentation decks from scratch, ensuring a cohesive visual flow and professional aesthetic.
• Template Development: Develop reusable, user-friendly templates that align with brand guidelines and empower team members to create consistent content.
• Visual Storytelling: Translate data, strategies, and concepts into engaging infographics, charts, and visual narratives.
• Brand Alignment: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to established brand identities while pushing creative boundaries within the retail space.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand project objectives, incorporate feedback, and deliver polished final products under tight deadlines.
• Quality Assurance: Proofread and polish presentations for visual consistency, typography, and overall impact.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a Presentation Designer, specifically within the retail sector.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote.
• Design Suite: Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create custom assets.
• Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing clean, modern presentation design and innovative template work.
• Detail Oriented: Exceptional eye for layout, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Communication: Ability to take direction well and explain design choices to non-designers.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and quick turnarounds.
