Required Skills

• Programming in Python, Java, or R
• Building scalable AI infrastructure from the ground up
• Developing and maintaining data pipelines and deployment strategies
• Working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
• Knowledge of containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB, Graph DBs, Redis)
• API development and integration (REST, API Gateways)
• Managing large data sets and optimizing code for performance
• Troubleshooting and performance tuning of AI systems

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with real-time and batch data processing tools like Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Snowflake
• Knowledge of NLP, reinforcement learning, generative AI, or autonomous systems
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
• Understanding of AI applications specific to the insurance industry

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in large-scale data or AI projects
• Proven track record of building and maintaining AI or machine learning platforms
• Experience deploying models in production environments
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
