About The Client

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading global investment firm specializing in technology‑driven financial solutions, quantitative research, and large‑scale data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small to mid‑sized software engineering team
• Design and develop scalable, high‑performance software solutions
• Work on core software development with a focus on big data and analytics
• Translate complex data into meaningful insights and technical solutions
• Ensure high‑quality coding, debugging, and delivery standards
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and global stakeholders
• Drive agile development practices and project execution
• Mentor team members and support their technical growth

Must‑Have Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in core software development
• Strong proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Experience with big data technologies or strong interest in the same
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Experience working in agile environments
• Minimum 1 year of team management experience
• Ability to independently execute projects and handle complex problem statements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
