About

As a Principal Associate, Capital Markets & Risk - Systems Analyst at Capital One, you will be part of the Treasury Systems & Business Solutions team, responsible for creating simple, integrated, and intelligent solutions to support decision making, execution, operations, and risk management for the Treasury department. Your role will involve working closely with Agile teams to deliver cloud-based solutions by conducting customer interviews, analysis, impact assessments, and implementation of solutions. You will also ensure the integrity of all data produced as a result of new intent delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define solutions to business/system problems and translate business requirements into project briefs
  • Collaborate with tech and business SMEs to analyze and translate business requirements and source data
  • Prepare systems analysis documentation and specifications
  • Identify and present solutions for roadblocks to projected timelines
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and finalize solution disposition for business acceptance
  • Assist core system users, address downstream systems issues, and respond to audit requests
  • Develop, maintain, manage, and deliver technical information or documentation
  • Own the design of configuration changes within Treasury's Cash Management system Quantum
  • Manage inter-team and technology dependencies to mitigate project and product risks
  • Support the Product Owner with prioritization, road map development, and test coordination

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in a business system analysis role
  • At least 3 years of experience in Capital Markets, Treasury, Payments, or Cash Management
  • Preferred: MBA or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
  • Preferred: Experience in Agile methodologies, unit testing, SQL, Python, and AWS

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salaries for this role range from $119,400 to $149,800 based on location. In addition to the salary, this role is eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation including cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives.
