Responsibilities include leading the design of complex, resilient, and highly available cloud solutions, defining best practices, and providing technical leadership to engineering teams. You will collaborate closely with product management, development, and operations teams to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures. Experience in migrating complex enterprise applications to the cloud and optimizing cloud spend is essential. This is a remote-first position requiring exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Develop and implement cloud migration strategies for enterprise applications. Define cloud infrastructure best practices, standards, and patterns. Provide technical leadership and guidance to cloud engineering teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize cloud resource utilization and manage cloud costs. Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services. Develop and maintain IaC scripts for automated provisioning and management of cloud resources. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the cloud environment. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and engineering. Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates). Experience with microservices architecture and API design. Knowledge of networking, security, and data management in cloud environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead technical discussions and influence decision-making. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
