Compensation: $80.00 to $100.00/hr. W2

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of a CRM-sourced data mart to enhance Power BI capabilities.
  • Define and implement star schemas and relational database structures to optimize data management.
  • Design and build ETL processes and data pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric and other related services.
  • Establish and enforce data architecture and engineering best practices across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Deliver hands-on coding while mentoring and coaching team members on modern data practices.
  • Lay the foundation for an enterprise data warehouse and craft the roadmap for future initiatives.

Experience Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft data technologies, particularly Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse.
  • Over 10 years of expertise in star schema design and relational modeling.
  • At least 8 years of experience in designing and operating robust ETL processes and production data pipelines.
  • Experience in integrating datasets for Power BI while applying visualization-aligned data modeling principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with both business and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with data lake and warehouse concepts, including SQL, Delta, and Parquet.
  • Experience with Databricks is preferred.
  • Understanding of CRM systems and sales data structures is preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial data modeling, including understanding securities, instruments, and portfolios is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely in alignment with East Coast business hours.
