Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior technical authority for electrical engineering across projects.
  • Establish and maintain electrical design standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Review, approve, and provide oversight on complex calculations, drawings, and technical deliverables.
  • Provide high-level technical guidance to engineers and designers.
  • Support project teams in resolving complex electrical challenges.
  • Participate in constructability reviews and field investigations as required.
  • Act as a senior technical advisor in client discussions and technical forums.
  • Lead electrical engineering in support of projects.
  • Mentor engineers and support long-term capability development within the discipline.
  • Contribute to technical strategy and proposal development.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of electrical design experience in industrial environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer designation registered with APEGA.
  • Extensive experience in oil & gas, mining, petrochemical, or other industrial facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a technical authority or discipline lead.
  • Experience reviewing and approving complex engineering deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage directly with clients.
