Responsibilities

• As a hands-on and execution-focused Engineering Manager, you will lead a team responsible for building and scaling the core customer quoting and pricing experience on a high-traffic digital platform.
• You will guide the team in solving complex technical and business challenges while fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• You will be responsible for setting clear expectations, driving delivery, mentoring and coaching engineers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners such as product, design, and operations.
• This is a highly impactful role for a driven leader who thrives on empowering teams, removing blockers, and contributing directly when needed.

Mandatory Skills

• Required: Python
• Nice-to-have: Rust, TypeScript

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with a proven track record of leading software development teams in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
• Experience managing teams of 20+ engineers, with the ability to mentor high performers while effectively addressing performance gaps.
• Strong technical expertise, with the ability to either bring or quickly develop proficiency in Python, Rust, and TypeScript.
