Location: Gurugram, India Work Mode: Hybrid / Onsite Experience: 12-18 Years Travel: ~30%

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced engineering professional to provide technical leadership in the design, development, and deployment of automated manufacturing solutions. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, reducing variability, and enabling scalable, efficient production systems.

Key Responsibilities • Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and deploying automation solutions to enhance operational performance across multiple projects. • Lead, mentor, and guide engineers, technicians, and operators across different levels. • Research and implement advanced manufacturing technologies to improve automation and digital monitoring of production processes. • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and execute strategic process improvements. • Support capital equipment acquisition including requirement definition, vendor selection, contract negotiation, installation, commissioning, and validation. • Champion automation excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. • Benchmark automation technologies and manufacturing capabilities across global networks. • Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve process, product, and equipment-related challenges. • Support new product and process introduction aligned with structured development processes. • Lead and execute process validations (VP, IQ, OQ, PQ) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Perform Gauge R&R studies, process capability analysis, and process characterization. • Lead value-stream and cross-functional projects including planning, budgeting, execution, and operational handover. • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and engineering best practices. • Drive creation and review of engineering documentation such as design history files, validation reports, and technical documentation. • Mentor team members on design controls, risk management, and quality system requirements.

Required Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field). • 12–15 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, advanced manufacturing, or process development.

Preferred Skills • Strong expertise in mechanical and electro-mechanical system design, optimization, and troubleshooting. • Solid understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. • Deep knowledge of computer vision and programming (Python). • Hands‑on experience with industrial automation systems including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. • Familiarity with process validation and statistical tools such as PFMEA and SPC. • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., DMAIC). • Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, sensors, robotics, and machine vision systems. • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to cross‑functional teams.
