Project Lead

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Lead development of infotainment and driver information system.
• Own and lead infotainment projects associated with Mahindra product development activities.
• Define requirements, design systems, implement, test/debug.
• Plan, track, and lead technology development; mentor and motivate engineers.
• Participate in planning, requirements analysis, and coordination with internal and external team members.
• Share overall project success responsibility with other lead engineers.
• Comfortable in all phases of the project/product development life cycle.
• Experience in vehicle infotainment design development.
• Fundamental knowledge of system engineering development.
• Familiarity with automotive networks (MOST, CAN, LIN, Bluetooth, USB, etc.).
• Research, plan, propose, and verify IVI system architecture for future models with a balanced lifecycle approach.
• Identify key technologies to execute requirements and ensure platform roadmaps utilize them.
• Lead team to establish system‑level requirements to meet/exceed current and future customer expectations.
• Communicate customer needs and proposed system architecture throughout the organization; work with Tier 1, purchasing, and vehicle teams to bring system to development stage.
• Develop interface requirements to meet functional requirements and system‑level use cases for IVI networked systems.

Experience

• 12+ years of experience.
• Minimum six years of hardcore infotainment domain and product development experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in B.E./B.Tech (M.E./M.Tech preferred) in EE/ECE or MSc in Electronics, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred industry experience in automotive infotainment.
