Role and Responsibilities

The Principal Engineer, Product Engineering, will be responsible for leading and designing high-impact engineering solutions for our product teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and deliver scalable systems that enhance our product offerings.

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge product solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define product requirements and technical solutions.
• Drive the architecture and design of robust, scalable systems that can handle millions of users.
• Ensure high-quality, efficient code by promoting best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the performance and reliability of the product.
• Lead the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance product features and scalability.
• Manage complex technical challenges and provide solutions that align with business and product objectives.
• Ensure that the engineering team meets product milestones while adhering to quality and timeline standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on product engineering and system architecture.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams, designing scalable systems, and delivering high-quality products.
• Expert-level proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and modern CI/CD practices.
• Strong experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with the fitness or consumer tech industry is a plus.
• Experience with machine learning or AI-based product development.
