Position Details

• Grade: 40 and 41
• Engineering Disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, and Power Engineering
• Mission Support: Ensuring projects are designed and constructed in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications, contract plans, FRC, and Federal Railroad Administration (FTA) Regulations.

Senior Project Engineer

• Starting Salary: $116,428.00
• Responsibilities:
  • Undertake engineering/quality assurance assignments of “significant complexity” in size and scope.
  • Provide technical support and direction for engineering/quality assurance activities, including definition and coordination for design review and implementation.
  • Establish inspection plans, program/project development and consulting, statistical methods, audits, and continuous improvement approaches.
• Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Seven years of relevant engineering experience.
  • $5,000 salary increase for those with a PE/RA License.

Project Engineer

• Starting Salary: $105,378.00
• Responsibilities:
  • Undertake engineering/quality assurance assignments that are “complex” in size and scope.
  • Provide support for engineering activities and continuous improvement approaches.
• Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Five years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Mentors available for those seeking EIT registration.
  • $5,000 salary increase for those with a PE/RA License.
