Role: Principal Full Stack (AWS) EngineerLocation: Jersey City, NJThe Skills You BringBatchelor's degree in computer science or related field required10+ years strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Kafka development environment; Use (CI/CD) Jenkins pipelineExperience leading a teamProficient in designing micro services by applying software design patterns, twelve-factor app methodology, and SOLID principlesExperience container orchestration technologies such as KubernetesExperience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services such as Kafka, SNS and SQSExperience with Brokerage systems, especially Trade processing and Settlements.Proficient in databases and SQLUnit and integration test automation using Jest, Cucumber, Junit and MockitoAbility to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environmentsPossess critical thinking skills to build end-to-end solutionsPassionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworksStrong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given timeParticipate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipelinesStrong organization skills and attention to details
