Role Description

We are seeking a Principal Hardware Architect & Engineering Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Newport Beach, CA. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced hardware systems. Responsibilities include architecture and system-level planning, hardware prototyping, and overseeing engineering teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet technical and project objectives is key. The role also requires providing mentorship to engineering staff and ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Hardware Development and Hardware Architecture
• Deep knowledge of System Architecture and Computer Architecture
• Strong expertise in Hardware design and engineering
• Experience in FPGA-based systems and high-speed serial interfaces
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in aerospace or defense industries is a plus
