The Principal Hydraulic Systems Engineer is a senior technical leadership role responsible for driving product development across hydraulic valves, solenoid valves, actuators and related systems. You will work across engineering, manufacturing and customer teams to deliver robust, certifiable products from concept through qualification and production.

You will operate in a high trust engineering environment where technical expertise, ownership and collaboration are critical to delivering complex products at pace.

Responsibilities

As the Principal Hydraulic Systems Engineer your responsibilities will include

• Leading the design and development of hydraulic valves, actuators and fluid control systems
• Translating customer requirements into robust, manufacturable engineering solutions
• Driving product development from concept through qualification and production
• Supporting testing, validation and certification activities for aerospace applications
• Leading failure analysis, product improvements and sustaining engineering activities

Qualifications

As the Principal Hydraulic Systems Engineer you will bring

• Experience designing hydraulic or electromechanical fluid control products
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, materials, sealing and actuation
• Experience working within aerospace or defense environments
• Ability to work across engineering, manufacturing and customer teams
• Strong technical leadership, problem solving and communication skills
• Have deep experience within the Aerospace, Aviation or Defense market
