Principal Information Security Engineer

Our client is searching for a highly experienced Principal Information Security Engineer to join their fully remote, dedicated security team. This senior role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions to protect the organization's digital assets and sensitive data. You will play a crucial part in developing and executing the company's information security strategy, identifying vulnerabilities, and mitigating risks across various systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, incident response, and security architecture. A strong understanding of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), endpoint security, and data protection is essential. You will lead security initiatives, conduct risk assessments, develop security policies and procedures, and mentor junior security professionals. This role demands exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and leadership abilities. Responsibilities include architecting and deploying robust security controls, leading security investigations and remediation efforts, staying abreast of emerging threats and technologies, and driving continuous improvement in security posture.
