Principal Mainframe z/OS Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Principal-level Mainframe z/OS Engineer to take ownership of critical trading, valuation, and fund accounting platforms. This role is key to ensuring financial accuracy, system reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of enterprise COBOL applications
• Manage trade lifecycle (capture to settlement)
• Handle NAV calculations, financial close & reconciliation
• Resolve production issues, batch failures & data discrepancies
• Optimize DB2 performance and batch processing

Must-Have Requirements (Strict)

• 17+ years of mainframe development experience
• Operating at Lead / Architect / Principal level
• Strong in COBOL, DB2, CICS/IMS, JCL, PROCs
• Experience managing financial accuracy & reconciliation
• Domain: Capital Markets / Asset Management
