Skills

• Proficiency in RACF on z/OS, including administration and technical support
• Knowledge of IAM (Identity Access Management) software products is a plus
• Experience with programming languages such as Assembler, CARLa, REXX, SAS, and SQL
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Familiarity with security features such as Integrated Cryptographic Service Facility and zSecure
• In-depth knowledge of network security and protocols for CICS, MQ, and WebSphere Application Server

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement RACF administration in SYSPLEX and monoplex environments
• Perform analysis, design, documentation, testing, implementation, and ongoing support for mainframe security
• Plan and implement assignments by due dates with minimal supervision
• Maintain quality and consistency for security settings, rules, and procedures
• Provide recommendations for security settings of mainframe software products
• Collaborate on continuous improvements to mainframe security
• Configure zSecure, develop reporting, and enhance automation
• Participate in on-call coverage rotation and disaster recovery tests
• Engage in audits and penetration testing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of RACF-related security management
• Ability to program in relevant languages
• Familiarity with IP networks and NetAccess z/OS Communications Server is a plus
