Job Description Summary

As part of the Science and Technology Organization, we build and evolve the enterprise data platform that powers the next generation of clinical and operational applications across GE Health Care. This data fabric enables scalable ingestion, enrichment, and access to multi-modal data from devices, enterprise systems, and digital workflows—unlocking advanced analytics, AI, and new product experiences across the portfolio.

We are seeking a senior product and data strategy leader to help define the long-term vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for our cloud-based data platform. This role is focused on shaping platform capabilities as products, aligning them to customer and business outcomes, and enabling teams across GE Health Care to build differentiated solutions faster and at scale.

GE Health Care is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Our purpose is to create a world where healthcare has no limits. Join an organization where platform thinking, data strategy, and product leadership directly shape the future of healthcare.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product strategy for core data fabric capabilities, working backwards from customer and business use-cases to identify high-leverage platform investments.
  • Establish a clear, multi-year product roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities, partner needs, and portfolio growth, and drive alignment across engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead the evolution of data connectivity, enrichment, and access capabilities as scalable platform products—balancing flexibility, reuse, and enterprise consistency.
  • Partner closely with engineering to translate strategy into execution, ensuring roadmap delivery, measurable outcomes, and continuous iteration.
  • Act as a strategic integrator across customers, internal product teams, architects, and external partners to prioritize work and ensure platform capabilities unlock downstream value.
  • Track market and technology trends in data platforms, cloud services, and AI-enabled products, applying insights to guide platform differentiation and long-term strategy.
  • Help evolve how data‑driven products are built, deployed, and commercialized, enabling faster time‑to‑market and broader reuse across GE Health Care.
  • Navigate both business and technical conversations, from commercial models and adoption strategies to deployment patterns and operating models.
  • Thrive in ambiguity—setting direction where it does not yet exist, making informed tradeoffs, and iterating rapidly based on learning.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in product management, platform strategy, or data‑centric product roles.
  • Proven experience defining and delivering platform or data products used by multiple downstream teams or customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without authority across engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.

Desired Characteristics

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data concepts and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, DICOM), with an emphasis on applying them strategically rather than implementing them directly.
  • Background in distributed systems, data platforms, or cloud‑scale products.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams on complex, multi‑tenant platforms.
  • Strong strategic communication skills—able to articulate vision, tradeoffs, and outcomes to technical and executive audiences.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, platform‑first environment where priorities evolve and impact is measured through adoption and leverage.

Compensation

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $‑$ Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
