Job Responsibilities
Opportunity
Canton Network is delivering what others promised but couldn’t: a blockchain for finance that actually works. As the only open layer 1 blockchain network with configurable privacy and controls sufficient for regulatory compliance, it is the venue where DeFi and TradFi are converging.
We are looking for a visionary Principal Product Manager to lead our Stablecoins & Onchain Payments product activation program. This is not just a "feature‑owner" role, but rather you will be the architect of how stablecoins & payments move across the Canton Network.
As TradFi and DeFi converge, the demand for stable, regulatory‑compliant and programmable units of value has never been higher. You will define and own the strategy for Digital Asset stablecoin & payments activation on the network, ensuring that stablecoin implementations and payment rails are not only technically superior but commercially dominant in contrast to other networks.
- Identify and validate sustainable stablecoin and payment use cases on the Canton network, that can be activated together with institutional partners.
- Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for stablecoins (fiat‑backed, RWA‑backed) and payments activation on the Canton Network, involving a cross‑functional team of stakeholders and network participants (e.g. Tier 1 Stablecoin & RWA asset issuers).
- Work with institutional partners to design workflows that connect legacy payment & PoS systems with Canton’s privacy‑enabled ledger.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure payment initiatives meet global standards (e.g. MiCA, Basel III) while maintaining the privacy benefits of the Canton Network.
- Ensure that the scaling of stablecoin and payment use cases focuses on high‑availability, security and low‑latency settlement.
- Define and track Key Value Indicators (KVIs) for the use case activation on the network such as Mint/Burn volumes and Transaction Volume/Numbers.
- Act as the primary product subject matter expert for stablecoins and payments use cases and activation within Digital Asset.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well‑being of our team members. Health and insurance benefits vary by region to ensure local relevance and compliance, and may include medical, dental, and vision coverage.
