Role Description

We are seeking a Principal Quality Internal Auditor for a full-time, on-site position located in Frederick, MD. The Principal Quality Internal Auditor will conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality standards. Key responsibilities include planning, executing, and documenting internal quality audits, identifying non-conformities, recommending corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous quality improvement. The role requires precise reporting of findings and monitoring implementation of corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quality auditing, regulatory compliance, and quality management systems
• Expertise in process evaluation, risk assessment, and gap analysis
• Skills in detailed reporting, documentation, and root cause analysis
• Effective communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in the healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences industries is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences) or equivalent experience
• Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or ISO 13485 Lead Auditor are a strong asset
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
